IBS · Treatment-Resistant Cases
Most IBS patients who reach this page have already been through conventional medicine, integrative care, elimination diets, and specialist referrals. What they have not had is a constitutional assessment — one that reads the pattern beneath the symptoms, not just the symptoms themselves.
A single, structured 90-minute session for patients who have received a prior IBS diagnosis, have invested in treatment, and have not found lasting resolution. You bring the full history. I apply a different framework to it — and tell you what it reveals.
This is not a second opinion that replicates what you have already had. It is a constitutional assessment through the QEM™ lens — reading your elemental type, environmental field, and timing patterns against your case history. The result is a diagnostic picture that most prior practitioners could not have produced, because they did not have the framework to produce it.

Credit toward the QEM™ IBS Resolution Program if you choose to continue
How the session works
Structured intake — before we meet
You complete a detailed intake document: full treatment history, current symptom picture with timing and triggers, birth date and time, current home and work location. This is where the constitutional and environmental assessment begins — not in the room.
The assessment session — 90 minutes
The first third is mine: I present my constitutional findings from your intake — your elemental profile, the environmental pressures I've identified, the timing patterns relevant to your case. You will hear a diagnosis, not a set of questions. The second third is collaborative — you refine the picture. The final third is the protocol: what I would do and why everything prior fell short.
Written summary — within 48 hours
A concise written document: your constitutional profile, the diagnostic interpretation, a sequenced protocol recommendation, and a clear account of what prior approaches missed. This is something you can share with your physician, show a specialist, or simply return to.
Optional continuation
If the assessment reveals your case is suited to the full QEM™ IBS Resolution Program, you will receive a clear recommendation and the review fee is credited toward the program investment. There is no obligation and no pressure — the review is complete and valuable on its own.
Why it persists
If you have lived with IBS for years, you know this cycle. Tests come back normal. A medication addresses one symptom while creating others. Elimination diets produce results that don't last. Practitioners treat the gut while leaving untouched the deeper patterns that are generating the problem.
This is not a failure of effort or care — yours or theirs. It is a failure of framework.
IBS is not only a gut problem. In over two decades of clinical practice, it consistently presents as a whole-system expression — shaped by constitutional makeup, environmental pressure, timing cycles, and the conscious and subconscious patterns that organise daily life. A framework that addresses only one or two of these will produce partial, temporary results. That is precisely what most patients describe when they arrive here.
The QEM™ framework addresses all five simultaneously. This is why it reaches what prior approaches have not.
Book the Unresolved Case Review"The patients who resolve fastest in this framework are the ones who have already tried everything else. They arrive exhausted and appropriately skeptical. What shifts is not persuasion — it is the constitutional assessment, which identifies something in their pattern that a decade of prior treatment never reached."

What changes
Standard IBS treatment
Treats the presenting symptom. Returns when symptoms return.
Generic dietary protocols applied without constitutional assessment.
No defined endpoint — ongoing management without a resolution arc.
Environmental and timing factors not assessed or addressed.
Subconscious habit patterns not treated as clinical variables.
QEM™ IBS Resolution
Identifies the constitutional pattern beneath the symptom. Builds toward resolution.
Dietary guidance matched precisely to your elemental type — not a standard protocol.
Structured program with a defined clinical arc and a clear endpoint.
Environmental and seasonal influences assessed and integrated into the protocol.
Subconscious habit architecture addressed as a primary clinical intervention.
The QEM™ framework
Where standard treatment addresses one or two variables, the QEM™ framework addresses five simultaneously — which is why it reaches what prior approaches have not.
Your elemental type and inherited tendencies — the fixed foundation that determines which interventions will and will not work for you specifically.
The influence of your home, workplace, geography, and seasonal pressure on your digestive system. What surrounds you shapes what happens inside you.
The organ clock, circadian rhythm, and seasonal vulnerability — explaining why IBS symptoms follow predictable temporal patterns and how to intervene effectively.
The beliefs held about the condition — including the medical narrative that IBS is chronic and permanent. These beliefs have measurable physiological consequences.
Eating behaviour, stress response, sleep architecture — the entrenched habits running beneath conscious awareness that sustain the IBS cycle regardless of dietary effort.

Is this right for you
You are in the right place if —
You have a confirmed IBS diagnosis and prior treatment has not produced lasting change
You have tried multiple practitioners — conventional, integrative, or both — without resolution
You suspect there is more driving your IBS than gut physiology alone
You are ready to receive a different kind of assessment — constitutional, environmental, and temporal
You want clarity on what has been missed and a credible path forward
This may not be right if —
You have not yet received a formal IBS diagnosis from a physician
You are seeking passive treatment with no dietary or lifestyle engagement
You require emergency or acute medical management
You are not open to the environmental or constitutional dimensions of the assessment
You are looking for a quick fix rather than a root-pattern approach
Begin here
Bring your full history. I will apply a framework to it that you have not had applied before — and give you a written account of what it reveals and what to do about it. If the full program is the right next step, we will discuss it. If it is not, you will leave with a clear protocol you can act on independently.
